Digital rotary viscometer is an instrument commonly used to measure liquid viscosity, which has many functions and characteristics. It can accurately measure the viscosity of liquid and provide numerical results of viscosity value. It is widely used to measure the viscosity of various fluids such as oil, paint, ink, coating, plastic, slurry, rubber, latex, detergent, resin, condensed milk, cream, medicine and cosmetics. Main instruments in laboratories and analysis rooms of textile, chemical, petroleum, electromechanical, medicine, food, light industry, construction and other industries, as well as universities, scientific research units and military departments.

Calibration process of digital rotary viscometer;

1. Preparation: Ensure that the laboratory environment is stable in temperature, free from wind and vibration, and keep sufficient vertical light sources. Meanwhile, prepare calibration samples, cleaned containers and tools.

2. Cleaning: Take out the rotor and measuring cup of the rotary viscometer, clean them with detergent and deionized water, and dry them with clean paper towels.

3. Calibration sample: Select the calibration sample, and generally use two standard liquids with different viscosities. One of them is a low viscosity sample and the other is a high viscosity sample. Ensure that these samples have traceable measured viscosity values.

4. Do not "rotate" without liquid after installing the rotor, so as not to damage the shaft tip and bearing.

5. After measurement, the rotor should be cleaned in time. When cleaning, the rotor should be disassembled for cleaning. It is forbidden to clean the rotor together. After cleaning, the rotor should be properly placed in the storage box.

6. Ensure that there are no bubbles in the standard solution to be tested.
